Update 16/1/12
Quite a bit of work has been done on the SkypeBoot update. I've also been thinking about the next version.
Ok first the update.
There is one more thing I need to do before I can release the update. Its not a big job more then a problem of finding the time to get it done. I want to put the time in over the next couple of days. I have nothing on my plate as of right now, but if something comes up that helps pay the rent then I will have to give that priority.
The last thing should only take me a day tops to build. I will have to test it just to make sure everything works OK. If everything works out I want to push the update sometime on Tuesday though this is not a guarantee. But if I feel if I name a day it will also give me the push I need to get it done, but like I said above work might get in the way of this. *fingers crossed nothing does*
The next version of Skype Boot...
There are a few bugs I am not fixing in the next update but I will fix in the next major version. Why?
Skype Boot started off being a simple hack for my own usage. As which, I wrote it as a hack. Due to how I wrote it some bugs showed up which if I wrote it correctly in the first place would of never happened. In order to fix these bugs I need to rework some major parts of the code and it would be simpler and quicker to start again and use the lessons I've learnt to make a better version. Something that will give me a better base to work of too.
One thing I need to fight is Netflix. Yeah it launched in the UK and i'm kinda enjoying its service but I can't code an watch. Its simply too distracting.
