Skype Boot v2, Translations and Interwebs

Ok first off. I will be properly back on line on the 19th sometime.

Long story short, I tried reporting the fault, got fobbed off by customer services, that (and some other reasons I will no go into right now) pushed me over the edge and decided that I no longer wanted to be their customer any longer, contacted the best provider in my area and they will happily take my money in exchange for internet provision. :-D

The kicker... It means moving over to ADSL2+ which also means having getting the line reconnected and due to the age of the line, at least part of it needs to be replaced to get the best speed which means having an engineer come out and the best date for me and them is the 19th. I can live with that just about.

In the mean time I'm on a slow connection but a connection none the less. Anyway I got some projects to keep me busy which brings me to the second piece of news.

Skype Boot v2:-

Work has started. Its a complete rewrite (currently on like re-write number 3) and I am happy with the progress. I have alot of the functionality completed, but there is alot more I want to get done. I hope to get a Beta version out to my testers very soon :-D collect the usage stats, find any errors I've over looked (You users are alot better as crashing my app then I am :-p) and once I have finished beta testing I'll get it pushed out to the Market Google Play. If you wish to help beta test drop me a email at beta@crosseyejack.com with a quick write up explaining why you want to beta test (Basically just to stop the spam bots, you don't need to write an essay but try and make it meaningful).

And finally... I've closed the Translation form. This is only temporary, With the re-write comes alot more new strings and alot of changed strings. The current form is out of date and needs updating. I will update the form once I have finalised the strings and then re-open it. If you have submitted a translation Thanks, I will contact you asking if you would like to translate the new version once I get the form updated and live. I'll make sure you are thanked in my own way...

Anywho's Back to coding.
